Promos Technology Releases Next-Generation Storage Solutions, Dramatically Improving Performance

Officially released its new generation of enterprise-class NVMe SSD storage solution-Promos UltraSeries™. This series of products are based on self-developed Polaris controller chip and the third generation 3D TLC NAND flash memory stacking technology. The sequential reading speed is as high as 14.2 GB/s, the random IOPS breaks through 2.8 million, and the delay is as low as 58 microseconds. Promos, pointed out at the press conference: 'UltraSeries is not a simple iteration, but an architecture-level refactoring. For the first time, we have integrated an intelligent load sensing engine (SmartWorkload AI Engine) at the firmware layer, which can dynamically identify read and write modes and optimize FTL mapping strategies in real time. At the same time, it supports PCIe 5.0 x 4 full-channel bandwidth and backwards compatibility with PCIe 4.0 to ensure smooth upgrades for customers. In addition, the series has passed the JEDEC JESD219A standard certification, with end-to-end data protection, power failure protection (PLP) and AES-256 hardware encryption functions, and has passed the long-term stress test of Huawei cloud, Tencent cloud and several financial IDC.
